Well once again I have been terrible at keeping up with my LJ posts - I always read everyone else's, just don't ever seem to have the time to write my own, or else life isn't interesting enough to write about! Bullet points always work well....

• I just got back today from working at a development centre in Goulburn, as part of my placement, but it was also paid (since they would have contracted me for the work anyway).  Now I get to spend the next 5-6 days watching videos and writing reports....hehe I will get bored of that quickly I'm sure!  But it will take me right through to the end of my placement, which is good.  The centre went really well mostly - but it certainly challenged my skills when one of the older, long standing people who work at this company basically was flipping out about getting fired over the results - poor guy...I ended up pulling out the counselling skills in a big way last night.  Too long a story to explain more, but all very draining.  14 hour days of constant assessing and working with participants was draining enough without having all that on top!  Definitely a good learning experience though, and since I have some counselling in my background, I was more prepared to deal with the problem than the actual real consultant at the company, so that was kinda funny! 
• Uni marks came back a little while ago, and since I only had one subject last semester I only got one mark, but it was a nice one - 90%.  So I'm pretty happy with that as you can imagine :-)
• I'm filling in at my weekend receptionist job for 2 full 6-day weeks in the beginning of August....gonna be fun to spend some cushy time doing an easy peasy job, hehe.  Now I just have to work out what uni work I can manage to take along with me - last year I did about 3/4 of an assignment when I worked there for 2 weeks, hehe.  Hopefully I will have got my uni assignments by then for the upcoming semester!
• Dave is going to New Zealand to snowboard on Saturday morning, for about 8-9 days.  Lucky him!  Guess who is being nice enough to get up at 4AM to drive him to the airport, even though I have to work that day?  I should get some great-girlfriend award for that I think :-P

That's all I can be bothered with tonight....I'm utterly exhausted from all this work and need to go to bed!!!
